I was hooking up the cable to the vcr yesterday to record some things in the near future. Tons of wires all over.
When I pressed record, I began channel surfing to make sure that the channels would show up unscrambled.
And then I found one of my favorite movies, "Little women," with Winona Ryder in it. Oh I love that movie...I kept taping for a while, and then I got really into the movie.
I saw it a while ago, so I did not remember all of it. As I was watching, I heard the magic word "Transcendentalism." I couldn't believe it. I discovered transcendentalism on my own in college last semester. It was in my history book...I fell in love with the whole idea. That is why one of my first entries states my mission statement, which is built around transcendentalism. ^^
I like the movie soo much, but now I like it even more, because it deals with a subject very dear to me. I wrote an essay using transcendentalism ideas on the "my essays..." link on the right.
This was actually one of my best essays that I have written, because I love the subject matter so much ^**^
In other news, I excersized today. It had been so long. So I excersized until I was drained. I punched the fast punching bag for like an hour. That followed the treadmill. I ran 2 miles in aprox. 37 min. It was so much fun to do it again. I felt like giving at some points, but I persevered. When I could go no further I remembered Shinji's words "I must not fear," also I remember a quote from the movie Dune, "I must not fear, fear is the mind killer." I was thinking this, because I was running so fast and I was becoming increasingly tired.
But hey, I did it for the fun of it. ^^
Ok, I'm kinda tired so good night ^^
